The White Tower is the oldest of
all towers, was made by William the
Conqueror, and finalized by his sons and successors. The wall itself is
in 90 feet in height, and 15 feet in thickness. There are four turrets
above the four turrets, while one of them used to be the first royal
observatory. It was whitewashed by King Henry III
